ABOUT OUR CURRICULUM:
At the Boro School, we offer several styles of classes that will appeal to any kind of student from beginner to advanced levels. We are one of the few schools in the world that specializes in borosilicate glass. Students come to We teach Pipemaking, Jewelry, Patterns, Techniques, and more.
We cap most of our classes at 8 to 12 students. We require a minimum enrollment of 3 students for all classes. (Does not include privately scheduled classes.) If we have not met our enrollment requirement for a class 24-48 hours prior to the start of the class, we may cancel the class. We will immediately notify the student and give these three options: Reschedule for another time; Take credit toward a class in the future; Receive a full refund.
Online registration for classes ends 12 hours prior to the class start time, however you can call us at 206-284-5277 to inquire about any empty spots we might have for a day-of class.
Classes under $100 require full payment up front. For classes over $100, you may place a 50% deposit for registration. On the payment screen, the 50% amount is the default, however you are welcome to pay for the full amount up front. We require the remaining 50% to be paid prior to your first class. Deposits are non-refundable. No exceptions. Deposits are transferable. For other payment options, please call us at 206-284-5277 Mon.-Fri. 10am to 7pm or Sat. & Sun. 12pm-6pm. We are happy to take cash or a certified money order if you don't want to pay online.
For cancellations made prior to a week before the class, the purchaser will receive a 50% refund less any merchant and convenience fees paid.
For cancellations made less than a week before the class, the purchaser will receive credit to be used towards another course.
In the rare event that we have to cancel due to an instructor illness or emergency and we are also unable to reschedule the class period, we will offer the student a full refund or credit toward a future class.
