An Introduction to Lathe Work with a Philanthropic Twist

The last weekend of February, February 24, 25, and 26, special guest instructor Ben Belgrad presents "Building a Brand Based on Giving Back," a three-day class introducing working on a lathe as well as discussing how to make your brand or business have a higher purpose.

Ben is the creator of Drinking Vessels, his brand based on giving back. You can check out his website, as well as his philosophy behind giving back HERE.

Special guest Creep is also joining us to lay down some extra knowledge!

This course covers how to incorporate philanthropy into your art/work and is a basic introduction to lathe work for glass artists who have some experience with hollow shaping by hand. Each student receives hands-on lathe experience as well as a one-on-one session to discuss how to incorporate philanthropy into their own projects.

Class is limited to 8 students. The price is $750 and includes materials and lunch daily. Class runs from 10am to approximately 6pm each day.
